令和4年3月4日に国立大学協会からウクライナ情勢に係る声明が出されました。このたびのウクライナへの侵攻は、武力によって一方的に現状変更を行おうとするものであり、到底、受け入れられるものではありません。室蘭工業大学としても、平和的解決を強く求めます。

本学の協定校であるウクライナ・プリアゾフスキー国立工科大学の関係者をはじめ、ウクライナ市民の安全が早急に確保される必要があります。今後の事態の行方を注視しつつ、本学として、関係の方々へのサポート等、必要な対応を行います。

On March 4th, 2022, the Japan Association of National Universities issued a statement regarding the situation in Ukraine.

The invasion of Ukraine is an unacceptable attempt to unilaterally change the status quo by military force. MuroranIT strongly demands a peaceful solution.

There is an urgent need to ensure the safety of Ukrainian citizens, including those involved with Pryazovskyi State Technical University, which is a partner university of MuroranIT. We will continue to pay close attention to the situation and take necessary measures such as providing support for those who are affected.
