Outline
The university library maintains and provides books, journals, electronic journals, databases and other resources for study, research and learning. It is widely open to the local community.
In recent years, the facility has undergone a number of upgrades, including the development of learning commons and other selfstudy facilities, improved computer resources and other elements of information provision, and the development of student spaces.
The Academic Resources Archive of Muroran Institute of Technology has also been developed as an institutional repository publicizing the results of university research and serving as a place for the collection and provision of intellectual information in line with the university’s responsibilities.
