The Robot Arena is a public facility that combines education, research, and community contribution. It was opened in 2010 with the goals of providing local youth with experience in cutting-edge technology, developing students' abilities through project-based learning and community contribution activities, and developing robotics technology in collaboration with the local community. The arena is engaged in a variety of projects, including the provision of robot exhibition and experience spaces and workshops, holding experience classes for local youth, cultivating advanced science and engineering talent that will contribute to the community, supporting PBL education using robots as a theme, and developing robot-related technology that meets local needs.
